CiviCRM - A powerfull open source CRM tool.

After more than a year dealing with CiviCRM from scratch, I´m going to state some of the advantages that I´ve found regarding this CRM open source tool.

  1. Importing contacts:  It is a very straight forward process. You just need to prepare CSV files depending on the kind of data you plan to import. However, it would take some time to complete the importing process depending on the number of contacts on your CSV file, and also on the matching with the CiviCRM database, this is because there are different ways to prevent Duplicate Contacts when the importing process is running.

Testing Drupal 7 with Drupalgardens.....

It looks like the new Drupal release comes with some great usability improvements and interesting features. Also, Drupalgardens (based on Drupal 7) seems to be a great option to start a new site from scratch, with lots of functionality options. However, as usual with new realeses, they need to be used and tested for some time in order to get stable versions. There are some modules that were working very good with Drupal 6 and there is no version for Drupal 7 by now, that is the case for the i18 Internationalization module.
